Hypothesis
If pea seeds are placed in root beer soda and apple juice, then the germination of the seeds will not grow as fast as the seeds placed in milk and water. This is because the soda and apple juice will not give the pea seeds the correct nutrients to grow because of the acidity, and the high sugar content.

Working with a mentor
For this lab, I got the privilage of working with my dad. Working with such a knowledgeable person was an honor. My dad went to college for the study of Botany, so getting to do a lab focusing on plants with a plant expert was very rewarding, and I learned a lot. During the lab, my dad gave me insightful ideas about which supplies to get for a sucessful turn out as well as why the plants were growing at the rate they were. Without my dad working on this lab with me, the lab would have been a flop. Thank you dad for all of your help and great wisdom.
